Inspired by alligator skin, Texture A is a bold, natural pattern that channels the wild and brings a primal energy to any space. Our textures are pressed into the clay while it’s wet — creating depth, dimension, and variation from piece to piece. As the glazes flow and pool in the kiln, the textures reveal themselves in the rich color variation.

Our Texture A Sample Set includes four 2×4 tiles, one from each glaze family so you can experience how different glazes change how the textures read, in person. Some glazes are translucent and accentuate the details, while others are opaque and soften them for a more understated look.

• C39 is a rich, opaque, Craftsman matte glaze that softens the texture.
• R342 has a glossy sheen that highlights the underlying texture.
• M145 is a matte glaze that gently mutes the texture for a subtle look.
• W96 from our Watercolor series is a translucent glaze that pools in the recesses, accentuating the texture.
